I work at Radio Shack and we just started selling SIRIUS satelitte radio.
We have a simulated demo unit on display that show what it would be like.

One of the Demo songs is by HEAD EAST.
The song is "Never Been Any Reason"

Just thought it was neat.

In my opinion that is one of the best rock tunes of all time. Not surprised it's being used as a demo. There's a local band here that still plays that tune. Keyboard player has a riot.

That is a good one. I like "Since You've Been Gone."

I used to work for RadioShack. Store 01-1019 in Newington NH. My 2 managers were Dave Tatro who is now the DM of Maine and Dave Amari who is a franchise DM in think in PA area. I used to have fun there.

Yeah that's probably the best cover of that tune, of which there are a couple. Rainbow's version is OK.

:D Well, you guys know how to drag me out of lurkerville, don't you?? Glad to see that NBAR is still getting some attention. It is, without a doubt, one of the best classic rock tunes out there. FYI, Head East is still out and about, albeit with only one original member, the keyboardist. This is still their encore song, and always gets a great reaction from the crowd - as does their entire set. BTW, they will be in Two Rivers, Wi. this Saturday night, with yours truly in attendance, hopefully.

Rock on brothertom!!!

Just one original member eh?

Lou Gramm rolled through not too long ago calling himself Foreigner so I guess it's OK.

The drummer in my band actually played with a band called Sneakers and toured with Head East all up and down the west coast. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

I've also got a "Jekyll & Hyde" MP3 icon on the desktop of another computer. Every once and a while people go over and start playing around on the store computers and will click on the icon. Then they get a taste of Petra. :D It's great! Almost everyone will stay and listen to a bit of it. :)

Who, to prove that the world runs in circles, also wrote "God Gave Rock & Roll To You." :)

Yeah, isn't that funny? And John and Bob met briefly on a plane while John was still with Head East, and then John joined Petra five or six years later.

Try and tell me God doesn't work in mysterious ways.... :)

AUGH!!! that's only 1/2 hour north of me!

BUT - just like last year - I'll be out of town on vacation... wouldn't you know it!

Gees... I'll NEVER get to see this band.

Any other dates in WI that you know of? I've love to hang with you & Terri again.
