The Petra Zone

I found this on ITickets.com that Petra will be at Shoutfest 2004 in Sherman, TX on Sept. 25, 2004. This is also confirmed on the Tait website. But none of the Petra sites mention it and the JohnWSchlitt.com website shows Petra in another location on that date.

Anybody seen any updates to support or deny this?

It has to be true, because itickets is real leary about putting unconfirmed info on their website.

There other concert for that date seems to be changed or cancelled. There is no info on their website(venue) about Petra being there on that date. So lets all hope because that only 30 minutes from us.

It better be true, the Dallas/Ft. Worth (Texas) area has had too many false alarms with Petra concerts. (Remember "The Door" concert that got canceled almost a year ago!) My wife and I will go spend the weekend in Sherman if the concert schedule remains. I live in North Ft.Worth now so it could take about an hour or more to get there. But it will be worth it. I got to see Petra in Sherman (at "The Underground" ) A couple of years back with 38th Parallel. It was great. Can't wait to see them again.

I am almost finished updating my concerts page (look for it later today), and I am including quite a few ShoutFest dates there. It sounds like Petra has hooked up with some interesting events ... ShoutFest, plus something else called the Steve Wingfield Experience.

I'm glad to see they're willing to do things like this... At ShoutFest they're probably not going to play much (about 20 minutes or so), but they'll probably get a lot of great exposure to younger folks.

Well, those things can change at the drop of a hat, and unfortunately I'm never informed when they do.

From the looks of it - I'd take the info of ShoutFest to be true, and I'll add those dates on in.

It must be true ... www.shoutfest.com list several dates and includes Petra in the line up ...

For what it's worth, Petra will not be performing at *every* ShoutFest date. Check the lists carefully if you're gonna go to one of them.

I posted on the Tour schedule (or something like that) thread about me going to this concert. I looked on the Shoutfest website for more info about when they play and how long. I may have to call about this.
