Petra tour schedule

How accurate is Inpop's tour schedule? They have dates on there that are not on other's I've seen and other's I've seen have dates Inpop doesn't.

The reason I am asking is that there is a date for 9/11/04 for Shaska, MN (I think they meant Chaska). Now, Petra was in Chaska on 9/11/02 to commemorate the one year anniversary of 9/11 . I don't know if they are making this an annual or and bi-annual event or what.

How accurate is anyone's schedule?

Right now, there is no definitive place to go for totally accurate info.

I try to glean as much as possible from a variety of sources, but without verifying each and every date, even I can't be sure if they're accurate (and as the editor for the calendar of events at my local newspaper, inaccurate and incomplete info is like nails on a blackboard to me!).

The ONLY one who would have an up-to-date tour sched would be the manager. And he's not sharing anything with me.

I looked to find a phone number from the 2002 Chaska show, but that was on the old server and I no longer have that info... sorry.

Interesting. The dates previous to 9/11 sync up with johnwschlitt and inpop, but johnwschlitt has a different date for 9/11. Town Square Chaska is the place they had the 02 concert. I'm almost certain this is the church that sponsored it then.

Tony Larson was the guy.

I'm just a few miles away, so I hope they make it here. It was a pretty cool place for a concert too, although outside in MN is always a bit of a risk.

According to the ShoutFest website, Petra is performing with ShoutFest on Sept. 11 in Somerset, KY. Here's the phone number for more info: 606-676-8810. Maybe someone can call and confirm.

ShoutFest's concert dates page is http://www.shoutfest.com/2004/dates.html

The Shoutfest date sure looks more legit. I'm afraid the Chaska Concert may be an error. Bad for MN, good for KY.

Well, now I get an email from someone saying they have seen posters for the Chaska concert in their town. Hrrrmmmm... I'm not sure what the answer is, because I'm on vacation and haven't been able to call anyone to investigate.

:D I have been waiting for Petra to come back to Texas, since I last saw them in Sherman, TX 2 years ago. They may not play the same length that they do at a regular concert, but it will be worth it. :D

Well now.....

I did a quick search in the online version of the Chaska Herald. Look what I found in the City Council Meeting Minutes.

How about a concert in the South East? Even a bigger city like Atlanta would be nice...please?
