I'd like to continue Executioner's question about U2's latest album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. Those of you who have heard it, what do you think about it?

There are only two songs I really like a lot - Vertigo and City of Blinding Lights. If the rest of the songs were as awesome as these, this would have really been a powerful album!
Vertigo kicks off the cd with fast rockin', and City of Blinding Lights is probably the closest to 80's-era U2 as the album gets - this song just takes me away.
Songs that are good but not awesome are Miracle Drug, Love and Peace or Else, and Crumbs from Your Table.
The rest of the songs are what I would call "slow and boring" - they dismantle the potential of this album being explosive of musical energy from start to end. The song Yahweh is a depressing and monotonous way to end the cd; it's my least favorite song on it.
How to Dismantle hardly breaks any new ground musically, though the use of bells and piano on some of the songs adds a unique touch. But, overall, it's a dud.
All that bomb you can't dismantle

U2
I won't buy anything from U2 anymore just because I only want Christian Music in my collection........
But from what i've heard, it sounds more towards Actung Baby coupled with a touch of the early stuff......
I think U2 isn't done by any means, and this album is a hot CD
