Just wanted to extend greetings to all of our Mexican Pethead friends... I'm not posting this in the language areas because I don't ACTUALLY speak Spanish.

I certainly I spelled "Happy Cinco de Mayo" correctly!
For the American/other nationality Petheads who might not know what this is... it's a holiday similar to the American 4th of July or the Canadian Canada Day (which is July 1, I believe). They are celebrating a military victory in 1862, just like in America we celebrate a victory in 1776.
Everybody have Taco Bell today to celebrate!

Cat's mom's birthday is today too. Last year I told her that on the day she was born, all of Mexico rejoiced. I don't think she knew what I was talking about. hehe!

Well, this happened: The five of May the mexican army figth against the french army in the city of Puebla, center on Mxico, 'cause France feel the wish of take the country and eat it. The mexican army -with no preparation and no armo- defeated the army french and mark a date to remember in our calendar. Well, yesterday, the school don't open and a lot of works close the doors. In a few words, now the conmemoration is a free day for a lot of people. Cinthya and I wake up late, eat whit my parents and rest all evening. I celebrate the day watchin a footbal game -futbol pa' los cuates- and Cinthya look 'Mirada de Mujer' in the nigth screaming to the TV -jejejejejeje-. Well.
Thanks Michael for the congratulation for all petheads in Mexico. Bless to you.

It was the war between the French Bakers and the Mexican Army!
The Generals didn't understand what a Baquette was and thought it was a weapon, so they destroyed all the French Bakeries!

This is my attempt at translating:
Eloisa Palacios!!! What are you saying? The matter of the cakes was the start of the war, not the matter in Puebla. Besides that, it was a matter of taxes. Hehehehe... tal vez sea la razn de que necesites un da extra de escuela. Saludos. What have you done to yourself? You no longer write...
Lo siento por escribir en espaol. Elo necesita alguin que pueda refrescar su memoria de la historia mexicana.
