Yeah, I watched this earlier today. It's tough love for sure, but I think it worked. The guy has given follow up reports on his Facebook page and it sounds like his daughter learned her lesson and the tough discipline didn't destroy her (or her relationship to her dad) the way so many people seemed to think it would. I say, the only reason this looks so extreme to so many people is because we now live in a world where kids receive so little discipline.

I deleted my facebook account, nothing personal anyone. I use good old email now, and life has never been more personal in years.

I saw it on the news. Refreshing to say the least. The only casualty in this whole situation was the laptop. Not a big deal. It's nice to see a parent in charge for a change.

I've never had a Facebook page either. I've also never had a cell phone.
