Anyone remember the long debate over whether the preacher there was a heretic or not? I just saw on foxnews.com that Robert H. Schuler had removed his son from preaching there for "different" views/direction. Anyone else find that interesting?

re:
This seems to explain it pretty well:
http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me ... 2775.story
"I was called to start a mission, not a church," Schuller told his audience Sunday. "There is a difference. . . . You don't try to preach . . . what is sin and what isn't sin. A mission is a place where you ask nonbelievers to come and find faith and hope and feel love. We're a mission first, a church second."
Seems the son wanted to preach the scripture more than the father wanted him to and in doing so would be calling people sinners ... interesting ...
