Amen. You said exactly what I was thinking, only better and more concise.
Mike has been the writing force for most stuff, and like he said, him and guys that he has worked with typically have demos of songs they have written put together so that the musicians have an idea of what the writer is thinking. Mike had these songs recorded already, then they became Stryper's. Oz liad down new guitar stuff that wasn't there before, and Robert laid down all new drums. I'm sure the next record will sound even more like Stryper, because they will have been back together for awhile, but, the process will no doubt be pretty much the same.

I am really ready for something new from them, and also I am waiting for the new rereleased of the first Whitecross album. I liked Guardian when they were putting out albums like Fire & Love and Miracle Mile, but after that I lost track because of the direction they took style wise.

They completely retracking the whole album and will also have a another song on there from the EP. BTW have you all seen the album cover for "Reborn"? It will cause some controversy.

Go to http://www.stryperforum.com and you can see it there. I'd post it, but I don't know how. Personally, I like it, and think it fits in really well with the Reborn theme. It doesn't seem controversial to me, more just a matter of personal taste.

A little bigger
You can see it a little larger at http://www.stryper.com/ . I'd say it's a little gross-looking, but that might be just what it needs to get people interested.
