I agree, Enosh hit the nail right on the head pretty much. Said everything I was trying to say, but did a better job of it.

I think (hope!) we all agree that all approaches must be under the influence of a biblical worldview.

but too, I didn't respond to get into an apologetic debate. That never causes any good no matter what.
OT, but respectful debate never hurt anyone, and indeed can do a wealth of good-that is, if you are actually going to debate, which our dissentor does not seem to want to do.
Think of it this way: should Paul, Irenaeus, Athanasius, Augustine and Luther all said that and been buds with the false teachers? We would have an unrecognizable religion today.
