I think (hope!) we all agree that all approaches must be under the influence of a biblical worldview.
Think of it this way: should Paul, Irenaeus, Athanasius, Augustine and Luther all said that and been buds with the false teachers? We would have an unrecognizable religion today.
So you are not going to back up your assertions in other words-but we should believe you anyway? OT, but respectful debate never hurt anyone, and indeed can do a wealth of good-that is, if you are actually going to debate, which our dissentor does not seem to want to do.but too, I didn't respond to get into an apologetic debate. That never causes any good no matter what.
