I keep being surprised at how vicious and polarized the whole political debate is in the US. Name calling, slandering, gloating in the opponent's misfortunes. I don't like the tone of this. I can understand you feel strongly about this, but you should always be civil.

If we weren't biased doesn't that mean we wouldn't support either option? So what your saying is that we shouldn't vote and use our first amendment right to speak the truth?

He got elected because the media did their duty and didn't delve into the communist ideas he was raised on. They swept Rev. Wright under the carpet, and didn't report on the things that Obama and Biden said in speeches and on the campaign trail that would have made more people say no thanks.

Wrong- how would you even know of Rev. Wright if not for the mainstream media? You seem to have no idea the role that a free press plays nor do you have an accurate assessment of what transpired four years ago. T

I actually think Gman is right because I wouldn't call Fox News mainstream media especially if your a liberal. ABC, CBS, CNN, or NBC did nothing and showed nothing on the subject of Rev. Wright or Bill Ayers and swept both of these things under the carpet, just like the terrorist attack in Libya on Sept. 11 2012. The only reason they are reporting on it now is because they are feeling the pressure from their viewers and they have no choice; even they can't refuse that either the WH/State Dept covered this up or they all have their heads stuck in the sand.

I think if Obama loses, he's going to be under the bus so fast. The media will be competing to report who he really is and why he lost. I think a lot of democrats will be pissed. The republicans put up John McCain. The democrats could have had a regular democrat and still won. They could have had someone without the communist tendencies, without the fundamental transformation. Someone who actually likes a strong and prosperous America, cares about it's future, and cares about its economic solvency.
There are regular democrats now that are pissed. They realize that we are on the verge of flushing what we have, thanks to Obama and, as they see it, his ineptitude. They will be the ones to put Romney over the top. They'll come around to the purposeful nature of the president's actions later. :-)
An economic model that has been shown to be an accurate predictor of past presidential elections is now predicting that Romney will get well over 300 electoral votes. It certainly looks like there are a lot of states in play that went solidly for Obama last time.

Wrong again. Do you realize how easy it is to disprove that? One example and you are wrong. This is not a matter of what you believe, but mere fact. A few stories about Rev. Wright by non Fox agencies:

Is it wise to keep focusing on Rev. Wright? Karl Rove doesn't think so.

And Fox is mainstream. When the Obama admin. tried to exclude Fox from the presidential pool NBC, CBS, and ABC all balked at the plan and insisted that Fox be included. Plus Shep Smith!

DID YOU EVEN WATCH THE VIDEOS OR JUST POST THEM?????

This is funny the only video listed that has any substance at all was the first one from ABC which was aired on a Sunday and is always known as a filler(Saturday also) newsday for the evening news. Most likely about 1/5 of their usual weeknight audience. Two others never actually show anything bad against Rev Wright or Obama and in some cases supports the notion that "is there anything really wrong with this?" the last one is a total joke by Conan.
I'm not one to think that bringing up these issues again will help get Obama out, all I'm saying is that the mainstream media did not effectively report the truth about the Obama's dealings with Wright or Bill Ayers in 2008.
The thing with FoxNews being mainstream can be looked at in different ways, but for most it is not considered a mainstream media outlet and in some areas is really considered some type of "Fringe Organization" I think the main reason for that is they are more opinions first and news last. I think MSNBC can be put into that catagory also with CNN used to being like that through the Clinton years, but becoming more news worthy in this decade.
BTW Shep Smith(tired of the bears falling out of trees & car chases bit) is probably my most least liked news person on FoxNews. The Special Report with Bret Bair is so much more for the hard news.
