I'm an aunt for the fifth time, my youngest bro's little girl was born at about 1:45 today. Her name's Carlee and she weighs 8 pounds, 2 ounces, she's a big girl.

My niece has fluid on her lungs and is in NICU, I didn't know she was having trouble when I made the earlier post. Pray for her.

Dearest Jesus,

How precious Your love and grace is to us all. How wonderful and beautiful to say Your Name. Thank You for being a gracious Lord, who is aware of one little baby girl that was just born today named Carlee. Lord You see exactly what is happening to this little innocent child and so I want to pray for her and lift her up to You and ask for Your divine intervention in her health. Please speak strength to her body and please would you clear her lungs? Grant the doctors and the nurses wisdom and help her little body to respond to the medications she's given.
Strengthen and uphold the parents as they worry, help them to know that they can rely upon You fully and may Your Name be glorified in this little girl - and her parents.
Thank You that You will watch over her and that she's safely and securily in Your hand and that she will be just fine, because You are in control.
Thank You Lord for loving little Carlee and thank You for loving her parents through this difficult time. Thank You for the wisdom that You impart upon the doctors and thank You for loving, caring and attentive nurses.....
We thank You for Your timely provisions - and praise Your Name, Oh gracious Lord on high.
In Jesus Name we so humbly lay this child and this request at Your feet.
AMEN

It's so sad when babies have problems like these. I know what it's like to be scared out of your mind and want to take the problem upon yourself. I'll be praying for your little niece.

She's doing better; they were able to take her off the oxygen and she should be able to get out of NICU soon, hopefully today. It is scary when they have problems.

Is she able to breathe okay now?

At least a year ago, a couple at my hometown church (whom I'm not familiar with) had an infant with a twisted stomach. By now that problem is probably fixed, but I hadn't heard anything about that in awhile. That just sounds like a horrible condition.

She's a lot better; if all goes well this should be her last night in NICU. She was able to spend a little time with mama today.

My niece and sis-in-law were released from the hospital today; I got to hold Carlee for a little bit this afternoon. She's a little wiggle worm, and she's beautiful. :)
