How about the crusties that gets between your toes? What do you call it... toe jam?
I still pick my scabs when I have a cut. They bleed and make even thicker scabs. The fun never ceases.
It's good to see you back on the zone.
oh my gosh step`hen

I could do a whole topic by myself on nasty things that have to do with your feet, thanks to my marathon running.
Let's see, huge quarter sized blisters with secondary blisters underneath, big chunks of skin falling off, losing toenails, blood blisters under toenails, I could go on and on...
Ha ha ha, thanks for the giggle tonight.

By the way, I love to collect all the sock balls that get stuck between the toes. The more get stuck there the more colorful it gets - depending on the color of socks you wear within a week or so.........
Gosh, this topic is gross........

I'm inadvertently growing a natural habitat for fungus on my feet. They are like a mildew forest. Pretty soon mushrooms might start sprouting between my toes.

See that's the thing with me, I get those Sock Balls too and they change to many different colors, but I only wear White Socks so something's wrong

What I find gross is the crusty crud that collects on the bottom of your feet when you wear sandals alot in the summer. Fortunately, I don't get sock balls in the winter, since I always wear special running socks. I did, however, just have the whole skin layer over a blister from the race 10 days ago finally fall off. It left a cool-looking hole on my toe...
Hee hee hee this has to be the best topic ever!

This would be the Black or Grey crusty crud, right?

VISUALS

ooooh, that's totally gross.
But maybe this next fall I'll take some pictures of all the sockballs I've collected in the winter before, keep them where they are, to add to the look of the crusty brown/blackish stuff on the bottom of my feet after I wear sandals all summer. THAT should be a great shot!!
Oh Yes!!!!

I like to wear sandals in the summer and get my heels all crusty and flaky... Then, when I'm in bed w/my wife, I'll scrape them down her leg. When she asks me why, I'll say,
THAT'S WHAT YOUR LEGS FEEL LIKE ALL THE TIME, STUBBLEY!!!

At night, after I take my socks offf (oops, one too many f's) I like to rub off the white stuff that's been growing between my toes. That's probably a good thing to do anyway or my feet might actually become a mildew greenhouse. . .
The negative effect though is that the mildew on my fingers overnight causes some of the skin to peel --
