SPEAKING of injustice, that is a horrid cover of that song, too. The 'I Could Sing of your Love Forever' version featuring Out of Eden is just plain annoying. I've called my congressman regarding a ban on Sonicflood doing any more Delirious covers.

Thank you. The End.

Actually, no it isn't. I have to weep openly about 'Passion's cover of 'My Glorious'. It would probably be okay if the original didn't exist. And if I had about 70% hearing loss. And if I lived in Europe (where they think David Hasselhoff is cool).

The End. For real this time.

David Hasselhoff is popular in Europe...Would anybody shoot me if I admitted I thought he was kinda cute? Okay, okay, I know, cute does not equal talent. But you can't be a cornball and not sort of like him.

U2 - Bullet the Blue Sky

"Outside is America. . . outside is America" sounds like:
- - "I'm sorry, it's America . . . I'm sorry, it's America"

So I thought U2 was downplaying our country!

This is a mis-heard statement made by me.

One Saturday several years ago a couple of families from my church went to the river for a picnic. They had a canoe and one of the middle school boys and I had a great time trying to navigate that silly thing around the river.

The next day in Sunday services I stood up to welcome the congregation (I am the Minister of Music) and I relayed the story of the picnic and said that, "Jesse and I had fun canoeing in the river."

A week later Jesse's dad (the city snot. Police Chief) called me, laughing hysterically. It seems he bumped into one of the older members of our congregation at the grocery store. He greeted her, but she seemed trouble so he talked for a minute. Nothing seemed to be coming forth so he started to leave. She stopped him and very troubled said,"Gale, what on earth was Jason thinking, going into the river with Jesse like that? I'm sure he didn't mean any harm."

Very puzzled Gale finally determined that she had thought I had announce that "Jesse and I had fun nude in the river." She had been beside herself with concern for me and couldn't imagine that I would have done such a thing, let alone anounce it from the pulpit. She was just certain that I was going to be fired that week.

Life can be very amusing.

Aerosmith lyric:

Before I saw the title of the song "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)", I thought they were saying "Do This Like a Lady"
