Todays word is: Brain Fart
Brain Fart / to smell and think you have farted, but you didnt really do it. It didnt matter anyways; youre the only one there. A Fart is an action; a Brain Fart is a thought.
To my own surprise, I was smelling my Dog, it turns out I had a Brain Fart, not a real Fart.
Brain Fart

I have to disagree with your definition of the word. I have never nor have I ever used the term brain fart referring to the fact that I thought I farted and didn't.
The term "Brain Fart" (It's a TERM not a word as it consists of two seperate words) is used to discribe a moment when you were going to say something and then BAM! it's just gone. You try to remember it but it doesn't come back. That is when you make the statement, "I just had a brain fart." It can also be used in context of doing something stupid or out of character. As in, "I can't believe I did that, I just had a brain fart."
This can also be defined as an episode of the Simpsons once explained as "Pulling a Homer."
Bakes, I must say that I am awefully disapointed in your incorrect useage of the term brain fart. Maybe you didn't know the correct definition or you were trying to establish your own. I would hope it to be the latter of the two, because that is a common saying and it would be tragic for it to be misused.
Now, can you define "Prarie Doggin'?"
