Personal Prayer request...
Well guys, I am kinda in a hard spot here.
I just found out that the car I purchased a few months ago is dead. Both the engine and the transmission are going at the same time, and it is not worth putting the money into it to get them fixed.
College starts next monday and I need something to drive...
So I would really appreciate your prayers that God would help me find a car pretty soon.

I feel for you, man. I'm in a similar situation myself.
On my way home for Thanksgiving Break, my car broke down, and it ended up costing me $600 to get it fixed. A few weeks later on my way home for Christmas Break, I hit a patch of ice, crossed lanes, and hit the guard rail on the opposite side of the road. The accident happened about 2 and 1/2 hours away from where I live, so I left my car up there and came home.
It is nearly a month later now, and the people who have my car think they've finally figured out what the problem is. I have gotten the impression that the people who have my car are none too bright, and even though they quoted me about a $500 fix, I don't trust them a bit with my car anymore. So now I am stuck in the tough situation of somehow getting my car towed home. It most likely won't get fixed until this summer (if it gets fixed at all), so I will be without a car for at least the next 4 months.
Life's been really tough for me lately...

Your suggestion makes sense, Elo, but public transportation isn't all that great here, and they live a little further away from their schools than you do. I would imagine the bus is an option until God provides them cars, but if they work, their bosses probably would want them to have a car. It's a tough situation.
Hang in there, and keep telling yourselves you will graduate one day. I'll pray for you.

thanks
I really appreciate your prayers guys. Public transportation is not an option for me
I live 30 minutes away from college and I live out in the boonies (aka "the country").
I am looking at a 1994 buick with 92 k miles on it tomorrow. I know the guy who has it, and he said he would give it to me for $650. The price sounds pretty stinking good to me. Me and my father are going to look at tomorrow. It would be really good if this worked out for me, but nothing is final yet so keep praying!
Thanks Again,
Enoch

Do you expect me to drive this trombonemobile?
I ordered a used Benge tenor trombone off of Ebay for $685. And of course that's a decent price for one because even most used trombones are more expensive than that.
Your car would cost less than my trombone?
Here's slidin' to ya,
