The Petra Zone

I think we need a Chat Room Site for those of us that have time can sit here and talk live to one another.........i think that would be cool.

I never thought I would agree with you on ANYTHING (you know I'm only kidding), but I think that's an awesome idea. So any of you are like some sort of computer geeks that might create something like that?

I think that would benefit us all - for example, if any of us need prayer, or even sharing anything that's on our minds (PETRA for example, and PETRA, AND PETRA). ANyhow, I also think we should have a PETRA FAN get together, and invite PETRA to come and do a concert for us all petra fans. You know, like calling on ALL petra fans out there and pick a center place to meet. THat would be a DAY in PETRA HISTORY.

In response to the chat room, someone at the old board had a chat room on his website, and we used to try and have monthly chats, sometimes with members of the band. However, these chats were not highly attended.

Regarding the "Petra Fest," I believe there have already been two Pethead Conventions in Sheboygan, WI which were both put together by Sue D. Maybe she will do another one sometime.

I so pray for that , though ya know, I would also go if there were an scales convention hehehe.

I just want to share with all of you how sadden I am to hear that MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIMES has retired! I am single mom, and my 4 year old son already knows who Petra is, knows some PEtra songs, request for Petra to be played in my car, does not want me to sing songs he considers his favorites because he says those are his songs (Petra songs of course); am I getting my message across yet? yeah...still, I hear John will continue to do his thing on the side.

Stryperforum has a chat room, and it is pretty cool. I think it would be great if we had one over here also.

To me, Petra's retiring isn't nearly as sad as the reason WHY they retired. And we know exactly why. No further comment.

Yeah, THAT whole subject is very upsetting to me and I'm better off not talking about it.

Hehe. I'll be busy with school too, I doubt I'd be in a chat room all the time, although I would whenever I had a chance. A chat room here

Yeah, that subject has been discussed a number of times and it hasn't changed anything. Best just to leave it alone now.

No, Dan, I'm not a grad student, I should be getting my BA in about three semesters if all goes as planned.

Exe, I was talking about what Lexington and Dan said about Petra retiring and the reasons they might be. And my major's Engish lit.
