The Petra Zone

Hiya all. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Life just keeps happening here...

Let's see, it's been a month or two since I have been on here... In the last few months, I've been sick with the flu more than once, been overstressed at work, told off a friend, been to a few good concerts, rekindled a friendship, ran my first 50k (32 1/2 miles), gotten digital cable, had food poisoning, got rear ended (and still have pain from the accident), and my parents had to put their dog to sleep, among other things. Oh, and I've spent plenty of time with the wonderful man in my life

Plus, my birthday is this Saturday. That night, I get to go to a gig by the band Simon Peter and see 2 of the original Petra members play Nyah nyah LOL

My life is never dull...

Okay, you rat, rub it in that you get to see two former Petra members in concert, LOL.

Welcome back. People do get sick, are busy or go out of town and all, so probably nobody will shoot you if you don't post for awhile; however, Elo or I might make a post or send an e-mail asking if you're okay if you don't post for a long time.

I'll probably go ahead and check out your journal, I'm nosy. LOL.

I'll try to be around more now, God willing, of course...

And let me know what you think of my journal. You might be surprised at some of the things you find out about me... I try to update it daily, but sometimes slack off on the weekends.

It's kind of fun to look back and see what I was doing a month ago, 3 months ago, the concerts I have marked in my memories section, etc...

Anyone else here a blogger? I love reading these things!

Jen, I read some of your journal and got a kick out of it. I'm laughing my head off over the one about bras...I wanted to make a comment but thought I had to be a LiveJournal user to do that. You definitely have a good sense of humor.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, it was a great day! I'll be posting all about it on my journal soon.

Oh, and the stress with the insurance companies over my accident has ended. They decided that my van was a total loss, which makes no sense to me, since it still runs fine and only the doors in the rear don't work. But we have reached a settlement. I have bought back my van from the insurance company, and will also be receiving a check for $2500 of it's value as well. Hooray!

For epdc: Yes, I have a wonderful man in my life. We have been dating for about 6 months, and are very happy. There will be more details here on the zone about him/us sometime in the future, when the time is right. (Those of you who KNOW, please don't tell!), but I will say that I first met him at the Petra Reunion concert last summer....!

And by "my life is never dull", I meant that I never seem to have a boring moment in my life, always something happening!
