I was at a show with him, Big Daddy somethin' and Exit East. Exit East, I think the name is lame, but they are nice guys, workin' for free as an opening act. Todd is a good minister. He got to the point with the fact that music has little to nothing to do with "praise and worship" in scripture. He talked about the emptiness that we sing through, with all of these modern praise songs. Our praise and worship should be in our living and giving to others in ministry, even in the simple things. He talked about the numbness of the church at large. It was convicting, it was great. I like this guy.

Come on, Napoleon... gimme some of your Todds...

I think that if he keeps that good preachin' in his sets, he will be either starting a huge revival, or will be "Todd who?" with a year. I was not impressed with the band. They were too green. But, they were all playing for peanuts. He was great.

When/where are you playing at GMA Week?

You can play for something other than peanuts? Who knew?!?

I dig the "Amazing Grace" version he does... age old 6-4-1-5 progression, but it's nicely arranged...

Copied from the email I got this week...

"We are also confirmed for a showcase during GMA week on Tuesday, April 12th from 9PM-Midnight at Club NV at the corner of lower Broadway and 2nd Avenue. The showcase is sponsored by Kainos' publicist, Nashville Publicity. Other acts on the bill are: Fusebox, Bryan Duncan, Chuckie Perez, Daniel's Window, and more."

We'll be racing Fusebox from New Jersey... I think we're playing there the 10th... we're too new and too poor for fly dates... fun, fun, fun!
