Why do we do what we don't wanna do?

Being a beliver is too hard in this world that offers pleasures of every kinds. Even when God blesses us, we keep doing thing that don't please the father's heart.
I need God to firm my feet.

If we were perfect Jesus wouldn't have had to die for us. Humans are sinful by nature; we can ask God for forgiveness or go our own way, and it sounds like you're wanting to do what God wants.

Dear Friend, that's because we are not perfect Apostle Paul said it "I dont understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
So we are searching everyday to please God's heart every single day we have to ask God to transform our lives, change our hearts. We need to ask Him to give us Jesus Heart.
I know that everytime in our lives we pass from some difficult problems and sometimes we feel that we can not go on, but there's a light over the horizon that can help us is Jesus....He loves you and He really cares about you.....2 COR 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
Philippians 4:19 and my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.....I can do everything through Him who gives me strength...
Remember that God who promised is faithful to fullfilled all the promises in your life.....the problems that we pass here is to make us grow, so God has a purpose in your life so He'll give you strength to go on.....I'm praying for you!!! You're very special for me and for God!!! Love you in Jesus Christ!!!

epdc thank for you praying and caring, and you all have posted here.
somethimes you don't care anymore of doing the same wrong things everyday. But the Holy Spirit is always pointing what is wrong, and
it goes on until you can't support anymore.
We can fail, but is God who lifts us up...
GOD FORGIVE ME FOR ALL WRONG THINGS I HAVE DONE.
Even if men look them as little things, to me they're NOT.
I DON'T WANT TO BE THIS WAY ANYMORE.

Earlier tonight I came across Ezekiel 36:twenty-something. I think it's 36:26 but I'm not sure. I can't remember it word for word, but it goes kinda like, "I will give you new and right desires, and I will give you a new spirit." That's God's promise to all Christians, even those whose sprouts are being choked by thorns. Then there's one of the verses I translated into Japanese some time ago that is something like "Create in me a clean heart, o God, with right desires and...(I don't remember what else) Boy, I'm resourceful. Not.
But I bet these two verses would be perfect to share to backsliding believers. I haven't used those yet, but maybe I should - verses like those can likely penetrate hearts like a sword.
I really admire your heart, Adrinux. You know what's right and even desire to follow it.
