Prayer Request for Johnathan

Hey guys,

Johnathan IM'ed me just a few minutes ago and aked for prayer and he also asked if I'd post on here to let you guys know so that you can pray with us also.

As you know, he's been suffering much with kidney stones and has been in great pain in the past and because of that hasn't been able to work. Well, he's got a wonderful job now, he hasn't missed a day of work - and he's in pain again!!! He thinks he's having another bout with those kidney stones and is going to see the doctor today about this.

Please pray for him that the Lord would so move in his life that his body would start functioning properly and quit producing those stones and that everything would be balanced with his system. Also pray for wisdom for the doctors to find appropriate treatments for Johnathan and that he would not be in pain, because he so wants to work.

He's been feeling really good and this sure is a blow!

Dear Lord,

We are so thankful for Your wonderful presence in our lives, even during the horrible storms that we face and it seems like You are so far away. We thank You for the assurance we have through Your Word that You are always near the righteous and that You never leave us nor forsake us.

I want to pray for Johnathan this morning, Lord, to ask You if in Your mercy You would touch his body and help it to function properly and not constantly form kidney stones in his kidneys. He so desires to take care of his family, but with the pain that he's going through, he will be unable to. Lord, touch him, grant Your godly wisdom to the doctors on how to treat him. May they find new methods that work, because You ahve made Johnathan's body and You only know what really is going on there. Johnathan needs Your answers and Your help quickly so that he can keep working. He's so excited about his job and hasn't missed a day of work, Lord, and in this he is honoring You by taking care of his family and he wants to continue to do so and be free of pain.

Thank You Lord that You stand by him, that Johnathan will feel your presence in his life and that he will fully rely on you and keep relying on you and that he will not give up, nor grow weary, nor get tired, but that instead he becomes strong and will resist the devil and continue walking in faith trusting You for his provisions and his health.

I also pray for Meagan as she will also go through this with her husband. Illness is tough on a family. Please Lord, in Your mercy help this couple.

Thank You Lord that I can place this request at Your feet, thank you so much that we can pray and communicate with You. Thank You for making us Your children and for caring for us. AMEN

I've had kidney stones in the past as well, and that kind of pain can make you insane.

Hello fellow Petheads, I just arrived home from the dr,man that is always fun! Actually it was cool that I have today friday and saturday off. I have been in pain! They of course found out that I have not one but to small kidney stones and I will return to the Dr's next thursday,to see if the stones have moved.I want you all to pray that they do pass on there own. In the past as you all know that is not the case,but now i have insurance and a new dr,he says if they haven't moved i will have surgery again which is fine with me, I just don't want this to linger on and on. I do want to say that if anyone else is suffering I feel your pain,but be patient God Loves Us ALL! It humbles me to know that. For without HIM! who would we have,just keep your eye's on God and he will pull you through anything,I know He will,He is a God of Love! Anyway thanks for your prayers and I will keep you all updated. Oh yea we are in the midst of moving,Ha this will be fun sorry I have not posted in a while. We'll be praying for you. My husband has bouts with his kidney stones, too. The first time he ever had one he was at work and started throwing up cause he was in so much pain. Not knowing what was wrong, he had me take him to the ER. The nurse that took care of him said she had kidney stones in the past and said they actually hurt worse than her labor did with all her kids. Since my husband seems to be handling the pain of a kidney stone 'ok', does that mean labor should be a breeze?

Just an update, They have put me on some meds stronger than I am used to. If anyone would like a laugh come on to Ky and see a weirdo! Meagan says that i am a trip on them. But I really can't stand to take them it keeps me tired. So i only take them if i absolutley have to,which is after work,which I am still doing faithfully, just keep praying! Boy Meagan is such a wonderful wife, so faithfull,that is that only way besides God and others prayers that I can go through this again and again. I am just humble in my life and thank the Lord that I have the life that I do and the freedom that I do in my country, Elo I have never tried what you are talking about,but I do know that the pills that I am on are not to stop the kidney stones from coming but to ease the pain when i do pass them I think!

look for an homeopatic doctor, i have had stones in my kidney and believe me, after taking the medication the pain is gone and the stones come out and it doesn`t hurt the process. give it a try.
