Forget the same ol' "Hey where are you from " topic

This is a new day just like tomorrow will be when it becomes today. But not like yesturday, that day is an old day, but it used to be new when it was today. Last month's last tuesday was new when it was today also, but just remember that that day is also old now.

Ok back to the topic.....

Where are You from? & Where are you at now?

See? Here's how it works

The toilet in Bakersfield, CA? There's only one toilet in that whole town? I bet there are really long lines. . . And lots of people are probably waiting impatiently for you to get out of there. So maybe you should go use your laptop somewhere else so that the rest of the Bakersfield residents can use the toilet.

We're moving to my brother's house in Monrovia for 6 months or so, while we're looking for something more permanent. We're not moving away, though.

Yo yo, Yamasaki-san's back!!! :P

I've been at UNI since Monday and tonight (Friday night) I just finished band camp rehearsals. Talk about tiring. We've had like 5 rehearsals per day, 3 of which involve working on our field show. The rehearsals have ranged from 1 to 3 hours long. For pregame, we are playing the theme from The Incredibles, and Blister in the Sun. For halftime, we are playing a Skynyrd show - Gimme Three Steps, Tuesday's Gone with the Wind, Saturday Night Special, Sweet Home Alabama, and Free Bird. I have an amazing trombone solo at the end of free bird (which I am playing with 3 other tb players, though.) There are 8 members in the tb section - or 9, if I include our section leader who is having surgery.

I've been worked like a sled dog all week, but it's worth it just for the fun of associating with band friends. there are so many great people (cool guys and sweet young lads) you can meet and talk to when you're involved in band. And it's not militant either; it's not like I have people yelling in my face and forcing me to do 50 pushups with their foot on my back. Instead, it's just focused and relaxed at the same time, and the physical activity isn't too strenuous. Though it still is a step up challenge-wise from high school, because we learn a new halftime show every 1 or 2 weeks. Anyway, band camp is over now, and now I have all weekend to relax, sleep, organize my room. From now until the end of November, marching practice is only 5 and a half hours per week (no longer than 2 hours in a single night.) Yay!! :D :D

Well, my second year of college is about to begin next monday. I'm especially excited for my Spanish and Portuguese classes next week. I also have music theory classes & music practices and such. 8)

Yo pizzeople,

Classes at UNI start tomorrow. Pray for good luck, and that I can enjoy my classes and get good grades. :) I've had a history of doing poorly in some classes because of failing to turn in assignments on time, and that's not cool. Also, I want to reach a goal of practicing trombone at least 7 hours a week, which is hard for me to motivate myself to do. So keep that in prayer.

Also, this Tuesday, I am starting my job in dishroom / custodial service at one of the campus dining centers. Some days, work starts at 7:30 or even 7:00 in the morning, so I might have trouble getting up that early and staying awake all day. Pray that work goes well, and especially that I will be able to get up early enough to show up on time. Also, I've had a history of forgetting to attend important events in the past, which really puts a lot of shame on me and causes problems for other people. So pray that I'll never ever forget to show up for work!!!

Thizzank you all :!: :!:
