Here's the deal: this is part of a public service announcement that's running in Belgium right now. The smurfs are holding hands, dancing in a circle around a big fire and singing, tra-la-la...then suddenly airplanes fly over and drop bombs on the smurf village, killing everyone except baby smurf (you can see Smurfette laying dead to the left in the picture above), who sits in the middle of the final scene, crying for his mama.

The message of the UN-sponsored public service announcement is superimposed: "Don't let war affect the lives of children."

I figure it's yellow because it's REALLY REALLY swollen. You know how if people have a bruise it swells up and turns blue? Well, she's already blue, so maybe it turned yellow. She must have sat on something or fallen on it or something.

I'm not sure that it is her butt. Let's face it, if planes flew over my head and dropped bombs, I would be dropping a few bombs of my own (if you know what I mean).

If it's her butt, it is a little too clean for her to be under attack by bombs. Unless if it is in fact butt hair, then it could always act as a filter, of course we are not sure just how thick smurf butt hair really is. This would be the first study of something like this, and I'm sure it would lead to more studies in the future.

Of course I think we're all interested to find out just how much butt hair "bugs bunny" has, everyone can see that on TV now.
