That's right folks. For those of you who watch Smallville, the teaser trailer for the new Superman movie will be revealed during tonights episode!!!!

I did not know this. Thats cool. I usually watch smallville anyways and the writing is getting better.


CAN'T WAIT

Yeah I agree. Seasons 1 and 2 were good to get me hooked. They were too heavy on the krypto freak of the week but it wasn't unbearable.
Season 3 was solid and the finale was superb!

Then season 4 introduced Lois and such. The problem with season 4 was Lana. Too much wierd stuff going on for me that didn't really have to happen. I figured out about the Fortress of Solitude right away. It then took 2 3'rds of the season to reveal what I knew already.

This year has been awesome! The character development has been awesome! I can't wait to see where it goes.

I'm looking forward to Superman Returns. I always liked Lois, she's pretty feisty in the comic books.

Heck, she's married to Supes in the comic books (or at least one particular story line I read anyway). I guess she'd have to be feisty.

The one thing that Smallville did that really made me mad was when they killed off Alicia. I thought she was a great character and she had just started getting her life back together. What a horrible way they killed her too.

You're right, Alicia was very tragic. You can't have all these people running around knowing Clark's secret. Which brings me to the only problem I have as a big fan of this show...

How in the world would this version of Clark ever be able to become Superman? Everybody knows that there is something up with Clark. Lex is obsessed with Clark being different. It makes a great version if Clark just keeps on "helping" people as Clark, but how could he put on the tights and not be recognized?

Lois, Lana (Who knows about Clark in the comics), Lex, half the town of Smallville, Lionel, all know something's up with or had suspisions about Clark. Lana even keeps going on about the secrets they keep from eachother. So if one day Clark puts on some boots, tights and a cape, they would know it's Clark. the one that really bugs me is Lex! How could Lex not know that Superman is Clark Kent? I pray that they don't do some stupid amnesia thing people just before they end the show and Clark dons the outfit.

OK, so will Superman Returns be a part of the Smallville or the comic canon??

Is it or me or did parts of it look like an updated version of the original?

1. The new movie will not follow either canon. It will stand on it's own.

2. Bryan Singer has said that Superman 1 and 2 are vauge backstory for this movie. It's not a direct sequel but elements are used from those movies. It also incorporates the music and uses Marlon Brando footage as Jor-El.
