I don't necessarily need to be the only one responsible for this site. :)

It would probably be good to make a few more people moderators.

And maybe it would be good to let qualified people at the code directly if they want to "improve" it...

I can help!!

Ok. I suppose any number of you would make qualified moderators.

BTW, I'm not sure what happened this evening ... checked in and found the database process was dead! First time that ever happened.

If you get something like that again, please feel free to call me... my number is at the bottom of the yoderdev.com page, which is linked to from the footer.

the code

I think if I were you I'd keep the actual code under pretty strict control. If people have a modification in mind maybe they can mod the original version code, test it elsewhere, and then let you know what they did. It's best, in my experience, to keep the number of cooks small. :)

I do have some previous moderator experience at other forums, although I lurk here most of the time I can help out if you need it.

I was just volunteering for moderating. I am in agreement with Michael. I think very few should have access to the design side....except with the help of graphic files. I, too, have discussion board management experience. I have a small Petra discussion board that has very little activity and a Christian Music board, with about 150 or so members. Also, have some webring management experience as well.

Again, only if you need and/or want help, I am here. Just say the word.

I'll help out as a Mod. I don't have any previous experience, but I have been a member of the zone for over two years, and I have been doing a lot of messaging boarding other places during that time as well, so I'm a pretty experienced "Border." I come here at least once a day as well.

That message above was mine. The board must not have signed me in right away. Here's my message again, anyways:

Are you going to notify those you would like as a moderator or do we have to inform someone?

Better yet

I maybe better as a graphic designer, should you need more help......and of course, if anyone needs help with site design, I'm up for giving some help, or tips.

But again I do agree that access should be limited, but there needs to be more then one person handling the jobs.

complex isn't it? :?

My goodness, this is confusing.

I couldn't find ANYWHERE in the admin panels to add users to groups (Moderators).

The only way I added you two (String and Michaael) is because I got an e-mail from the system with a direct URL link that requested you be approved!
