We now have 3 teams. Keep coming in guys. Hopefully, we'll at least get 8. Any less than that is ok, but it makes it less competitive. If you enjoy baseball, and want some friendly competitive fun, come on in.

I'm working on a making a 2nd team, but with lesser known players ranked in my draft list (just so the total is even). If I need to delete this team, I will. But if not, it will be a sure fire team that people will get a 'W' against.

It's great to see you guys joining. Yes, Petra Pete, I think we have plenty of time before the season starts and before we do our draft to recruit additional players. If we don't get enough Petheads, I have friends that I play with in an another league that usually help to fill out my other leagues. If you guys have friends that you think would like to play, feel free to invite them.

I prefer each person to have only one team. I don't think you would try to cheat by trading players between teams, etc., but it just helps all players to feel better about things when each player has only one team. So if you could delete one of your teams, I would appreciate it.

I'll post more in a while about how to play the game for those of you who are rookies.

The main thing I ask in my leagues is that we keep the postings, team names, etc. clean with no tolerance for obscenity, vulgarity, etc. So if you invite people, please be sure that they are people who will comply with that rule. If I have problems with a player doing this, I block them from being able to do anything with the league or their team again.

LOL, Defectors is a great song, and I love singing to it and rocking to it. As far as violence, the Bible says the Kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Each week each team will be matched up against another team. Each statstical category counts as one game. The stats will be kept for one week for each head to head match up. At the end of the week, whoever wins for that stat category will get a win and the other will get a loss.

In other words, let's say you have 14 home runs, and your opponent has 10. You would get one win in the win-loss column, and your opponent would get a loss. But let's say you have 18 hits, and your opponent finishes with 23, you'd get a loss in that category for the week.

The draft will happen in random order. The order will be set by the yahoo computer system when it does the draft. It will be an autodraft meaning yahoo will pick according to your preset draft list. You can access this by going to your team, and then going to draft list (or something like that). You then can change the order to best set your needs, etc.

Anyway, let me get this straight. You're going to let us know when we can pick players? How does the draft actually work? Do we just pick from a list of players, or is there a list that we just put in order?

Last time I was in one, I finished in the bottom half. Let's hope the auto draft works better.

In that one, we did a live draft, a player could only be picked once and we had 15-20 people in it. What a long afternoon !

I believe we had all postions plus 2 addtional pictures and 3 fielders.

I think Defector's team is from Cuba!!!
