Seriously, my wife and child and I moved to Fargo, ND this past weekend. All is well, we're happy and healthy (though a bit tired), and all our stuff is still in boxes all over the house...and we're looking forward to the delivery of our new washer and dryer on Friday.
Thank you, those of you who have taken an interest in our situation (you know who you are). We'll let you all know when exciting new developments pop up.
Take care.

I was thinking the same thing.
1) Arrive at new home
2) Unpack computer and hookup internet
3) Visit Petra websites
4) Unpack rest of house and visit family
5) Post!
Good luck at your new home!

It's not that new... it's from 1996. The Coen brothers, it is my humble opinion, are a couple of freaks, but that's just me. They tend to make movies that I find offensive. I didn't find
Fargo offensive as much as just not really funny, but others (my sister-in-law, for example) think it's hysterical. It's black humor, so you'll like it if you enjoy laughing at things like people being so scared they fall down a staircase wrapped in a shower curtain.
LOL... actually that DOES sound funny to say it, but I didn't find it that funny on the screen.
The Coen Bros. movie that is currently on the Big Screen is called "Bad Santa." It's about some crooks who get jobs as department store Santas so they can rob them. Although
the marketing about the movie on Internet Movie Database says things like "...they encounter an 8-year-old who teaches them the true meaning of Christmas," the advertisements show things like Santa swearing, drinking, getting kicked in the crotch by a black elf (his partner in crime), etc. Stuff I would really rather my 3-year-old not see when he looks at the TV all December long. Sounds like a lot of the movie is Santa cussing out fat little kids.
Anyway, I did enjoy a movie the Coen brothers did waaaaay back in 1987 called "Raising Arizona," and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" was pretty good, but I have a hard time really recommending their stuff, especially with this Santa thing staring me in the face every ten minutes. I just posted the picture for comedy effect. The funniest thing about "Fargo" is the really thick accents everyone speaks in... Eloisa, I'm not sure you'll have a very easy time understanding what they're saying! (Even native English-speakers have a little trouble with that DakOOOOta accent in the movie sometimes! hehe!!)

now thinking about it, I don`t like that kind of black humour. I thought it was those kind of LOOOONG movies that are interesting like for example "The last godfather" or "Lawrence in Arabia" something like that.
and don`t worry about the accents hehehe, God bless subtitles!!!!!

Isn't it a shame you can't choose what to read for your classes?

I know

that`s the negative part. but somehow is good because you are able to know about writers and styles that are great and on your own you wouldn`t read.
