Religious imagery surrounded Superman from beginning

(Personally, I think the studio is encouraging these stories... they have been suspiciously common as the movie release approached... I think they're trying to get the Mel Gibson Passion crowd to show up.)

I doubt it, these stories have been swarming around Superman for decades. These type of stories were going when all the past Superman movies came out.

I didn't say they're NEW. I didn't say that they're not true. I just said that there are an awful lot of them out there right now. And Hollywood knows that there are an awful lot of church/religious types out there who are willing to spend money on movies.
