So...Shell, is it safe to say you've seen the new Pirates of the Carribean movie?

I rarely go to the theater, but I might have to make an exception this weekend.

Yep, I just saw it yesterday afternoon. Johnny Depp is in fine form, it's worth it just to see him. I know Susannah is a big Pirates fan too. Sheesh, Johnny Depp is 41 or 42 and he looks at least ten years younger...I wish I could say that. Superman Returns is next on my list.

I don't go to the movies that often either, I think it's ridiculous to pay $10 for something that will be on DVD sooner or later, but I make exceptions sometimes too.

That is a major understatement. I am a MASSIVE Pirates fan! I even dressed up as a pirate when I went to see the movie...the midnight showing, of course! And um...I cried at the end.

But yeah, I rarely ever go to the movies, either, unless it's something really grand, like "Pirates", or LOTR. Ironically, I went to see "The Lake House" spur-of-the-moment, when I was almost broke, late at night when I was about to fall over from being sooo exhausted. I don't know what on earth possessed me to do that! Except, it was my sister's idea, and she really wanted me to go with her. I really enjoyed the movie, but it was not the kind I'd ever normally pay $10 to see at the show.

Anyways, I'll probably go see "Pirates" at least a few more times while it's in the theaters. Now, THAT is worth it to me!

I loved the first Pirates movie, bought it on DVD, have watched it several times since. Part 2 was not even close to being as good. I didn't like the characters and how they interact with each other. I didn't like the basic story becasue it didn't flow like a natural followup to Pirates 1. These people acted like they had no feelings for eachother at all. Until the end that is. I don't know why Will was so upset. He was swinging a sword at Jack not 15 minutes earlier! The love tri-angle thing...made no sense and was un-needed. Pirates 1 ended with 3 friends. This movie broke that up and didn't even give good reason. Many people I've talked to felt the same way.

I know many of you are waiting for my Superman Review. I just haven't had time to post in a while and I've been on vacation. I'll get around to it.

I really like the first film I'm really looking forward to POTC 2! I love Johnny Depp, my favorite actor! Very Good looking guy

I gotta say i�m not a fan at all but my boyfriend loves it so we�ll go to see when it gets to mexico (it suppose to be here in two weeks)

he wants to dress up like a pirate hahahahahahaha i told him that if he does that i will pretend i don�t know him LOL.
