The Soul2Soul Radio Network today announced the third annual Soul2Soul Honors event for Friday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m. at Northside Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana (Louisville, Kentucky). The Soul2Soul 2006 Honorees include: Rebecca St. James, BarlowGirl, The Katinas, worship leader Bruce Carroll, Christian Rock pioneer Whiteheart, and VeggieTales. AND will berecorded for televised broadcast at a later date.

The best news however is (drum roll please)... This year's Soul2Soul Honors include a rare, reunion performance by pioneering Christian Rock group, Whiteheart in an all-star line up that includes: Billy Smilely, Rick Florian, Mark Gershmehl, Tommy Sims, Jon Knox, and Gordon Kennedy. This marks the first time Whiteheart has performed together in almost ten years.

Yeah, those of you in the area go to the concert, this is rare, however I hope that this leads to more WhiteHeart Reunions. I wish there could be this big STARSONG reunion, where most of the artists that were on the label could get together for one big concert.

Wow... That's like all of their top players that they had over the years.

It'd be interesting to hear if they play anything past Freedom, cause that's when Gordon and Simms left.

I love Whiteheart I would love to see some photos or something from this reunion!

Anyone have a clue what stations this is supposed to be aired on? The web page says diddly squat. Did anyone catch a taping of this? It'd be a shame to see a piece of history like that get lost.
