The Petra Zone

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing TobyMac, what a great guy. He played at the National Youth Ministry Conference in Indianapolis.

After the concert, he invited everyone to a smaller room at the conference center for a listening party of his new cd coming out on Tuesday. If you like TobyMac, you are going to love this CD, it's his best so far.

On a side note, there were 3 bands that played at the conference. Building 429, Salvador and TobyMac. Each said that if it were not for a youth pastor, they wouldn't be doing what they are doing now. I just thought I would add that if there are any other Youth Pastors here.

tobyMac is pretty awesome. I have the new CD and it could very well be his best yet! He was what I always liked about dc talk. I'm glad he is doing solo work. Part of me hopes that dc talk never re-unites.

I really enjoyed Toby's previous album. I also have the Made To Love Single that was released late 2006. I've just ordered Portable Sounds (it won't be available over here until next month), so I'll have to wait for a few more days before I can listen to you. But I'm very excited!!

Portable Sounds is terrific. American Idol fans will enjoy all the Mandisa stuff all over it.
