Jud... might give people a little time to answer. Some folks (like me) are on throughout the day, but others only get on for a few hours in the evening or whatever.
You know, I think an interesting question is "Can you even NAME the Ten Commandments?" Cat and I were trying to say them from memory the other morning... there is an excellent cartoon on TBN Saturday mornings called K10C ("Kids' Ten Commandments"). The best we could do was about six or seven out of ten. I'll bet most people wouldn't even be able to find them in their Bible. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if most folks don't even know which testament they're in!
Right this minute I tried and got six. D'OH!!!
Interesting

the reason why I haven`t answered is because is a complicated question.
I mean, each person is different, and the ways of reaching out people is different too. Sometimes you start preaching straight to the point and it works, sometimes you need to wait until you be talking to the people and suddenly the topic we good enough for starting to preach ya know. If you have no idea of how to start, pray for this person and ask God to give you the wisdom for saying the right thingds in the right time.

I do not usly use the Ten Commandments. What are you to say?...
I do not murder or run around on my husband so I am going to heaven?
Many people who never break the Ten Commandments will not make the cut.
When telling people why they should come to Jesus it depends on who they are and what lifestile they are in. Of corse the forgivnes of sin and going to heaven. But also you have the people hooked on drugs, I tell them with Jesus you can get high with out all that. So, it realy depends on the person has to the reasion I tell them.
It is Wensday maybe we can think better tomorrow.

It really made me think about what it really is to preach the Gospel.
Even Paul preached like that. He keeps saying along the Bible that we are sinners and Jesus has come to do us a favor, not backwards ya know. For saying it somehow.
Sometimes we preach like "I beg you, accept Jesus, give Him a chance.." when actually Paul and other people from the Bible said "you are a sinner and don`t deserve it at all, but Jesus is giving you a chance , you should take it."
What do you think??
