I assume a good 90% of the users of this forum are Detroit Tiger baseball fans, so you probably remember Ernie Harwell in some capacity. He died today at 92. Great broadcaster. Great human being. Great testimony, and a man who was not afraid to speak out about his relationship with Jesus Christ.

Fixed, since you and I are the only two posters that matter.

Yes a great man of God, and also one of the finest broadcasters in the business. These ponieers are slowly leaving us and its a shame; they bring so much to the plate when it comes to listening to a baseball game. I would rather listen to baseball on the radio then on TV. Eric Nadel is the voice of the Texas Rangers and he is such a joy to listen to; When he speaks you dont need the pictures to feel what is going on on the field.
