Hey guys! Yes, we're still alive out here in Indiana. Things are going well. Can you believe John and I are approaching our 4th wedding anniversary? Seems like so long when he and I first met at the Petra Reunion show in Angola, IN in June 2004! We're both staying busy, John's been doing some writing and playing and I'm still working in the group home (16+ years now!) and running/triathloning alot. We've been very blessed that we always have enough of what we need, and that we're happy.
Our town got hit by a tornado on Wednesday night, and we have 3 trees laying across our back yard. Praise God that there were houses on 3 sides of the trees, and they all fell the one direction that didn't hit any of the homes! Some of our church friends had their tree fall, and it landed on their front porch, 2 feet from hitting the house. So far, despite a lot of storm damage, we have heard of not one single injury from the storm. God kept his hand on our area! There are still people without power, and some who were forced from their homes, pray for them, please.
Also, John's son Daniel is serving in the US Army and has been stationed in Korea. Please keep him, and all our brave servicepeople, in your prayers. Thanks! Plus, John's daughter Sara is experiencing some health concerns, thank you for remembering her as well. I also ask that you keep the folks in the group home I work at in your prayers. They are aging and facing new challenges that are really difficult for some of them.
Blessings to you all!
