What's everyone doing? And has Camping confirmed a time, or is it going to be just like...12 am GMT? I have to mow my lawn, possibly go to the zoo, and get some groceries and all this.

Did I miss it? Guess so. Where are those Left Behind movies? I guess Dispensationalists were not the nuts Hank Hannegraff made them out to be.

It's Saturday. But don't worry, apocalypse isn't until October for some reason.

Well, if you read Matthew, Jesus himself says that no man knows the time, that it will catch people off guard. Now, if the church is taken during or post trib, then we would be able to calculate when Jesus will come. So....

Oh man....I'm going to ask Camping if he can get us an extension, or else we won't get to hear John's new CD before we go.

Keep in mind, this is not the first time Harold Camping has made a false prediction. In his book, 1994?, he claimed that September 6, 1994 was the endgame date. I read 1994? back in the day...I checked it out at the local library.

His Family Radio ministry is spending thousands of dollars renting billboards all across the nation...I saw one just this past weekend as I was driving through Boone, IA.

One more thing to keep in mind...Harold Camping recently renewed his radio license through the end of 2012.

While I agree with the general consensus here that Harold Camping's predictions are completely off the wall and have no basis in scripture or common sense, I don't think the ridicule and name-calling of Camping personally are becoming to Christians.

We should pray for Camping and his followers, that they will be delivered from their error and come to understand the truth and, if they have not done so already, come to know Christ as their Savior. They need our compassion and understanding, not our ridicule.
