Shoot. Most people think there were 3 wise men, and there could have been less or more. The wise men did not come to the stable, they came to Jesus' house after the family returned home. The star was over the house, not the stable. It could have taken 20-30 days for them to get to the house. Some accounts put Jesus birth in June or July according to the Temple Calendar and when we know John the Baptist was born.
