The Petra Zone

I'm looking for a good political thriller author to start reading. I've read just about everything from the following authors and can usually read a novel in about 2 weeks. Just looking for someone new and/or different.

Brian Haig, Vince Flynn, Brad Meltzer, Brad Thor, Frederick Forsyth, & Robert Ludlum. I do not like Tom Clancy and John Grisham they both are real snoozers. If anyone can help with any ideas feel free to give ideas.

Steven James is an excellent writer. He has a series where the main character is an FBI agent - the Patrick Bowers series. I read alot of fiction and he is one of the very best authors I've read.

I think you'd like Joel Rosenberg.

A good for book for your bathroom would be "Fruits in the White House" the epic novel based upon real events of liberal administrations in US history.
