Rush Time Machine is pretty darn good.
Man, with the people they have inducted lately (and who they haven't), I am thinking that the R&RHOF has no cred.bradleyr12 wrote:I have to agree with you sir. The biggest complaint that I've heard from Rush fans as late is the fact that they are not in the RRHOF. I personally think that the fact that they're not, gives them more credibility. Its nice nice to see the old pros, including John, schooling these youngsters on how to rock!!
Every part of the VH fan in me wants to like it, but I just can't get into it. My big issue, aside from DLR's lack luster vocals and incoherent lyrics, is the lack of hunger and spirit. I have heard a majority of it and have watched the video for the deluxe package DVD. If a song has been passed over once, it isn't worth rehashing. Those are the words from Ed in the 90s. All of these tunes are reworked tunes from the old days. A couple were from the Gene Simmons demo session. Eddie went through his garage full of tapes and this is what the album is. It doesn't sound challenging for an EVH in his peak.bradleyr12 wrote:It truly has become a joke. On a side note, have you heard the new Van Halen sound clips? Sounds pretty tasty.
