He's been getting away with some major doo-doo for years...That whole family has. He's a good example of what happens when you put bringing in the bucks at any cost above everything else. And I don't mean that in a nasty way or jab at him personally, nobody is above that sort of thing.

If you can find an inexpensive copy, read Patti Roberts' book Ashes To Gold. She was Richard Roberts' first wife. Basically describes her life inside the Oral Roberts ministry empire...fascinating read.

I have that book...It is excellent, she really has some good insight into the traps ministries can fall into. She basically says they started out sincere about what they were doing, and somewhere along the line it became about bringing the money in no matter what. There should be copies on Amazon, it is well worth investing in.
