I think Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday time; Everything from it shows all the bountiful blessings that God has given us.

We will find out in November if our turkey is staying in the White House another four years.

No matter how long he is there he will always only be half baked.

I was at my child's school the other day and standing in line waiting to pick her up and was talking to another parent about sports which who is a black man and he asked me about the debate the other night and I said yes I thought it went very well, and he said yes he loved it also. I asked him why he will not be supporting Obama? He tells me that he voted for Obama in 2008 expecting him to come in and champion the "black cause" and went on to say "he is too white for his taste" and sees him as a fraud. I'm wondering how many other blacks feel this way? It's proven that some blacks voted for Obama in 2008 just because of his color. Could something like this impact the election?

Thanksgiving is one of my favorites too, but it somewhat gets overlooked being smashed in between the more commercialized Halloween and Christmas. It is a relaxing day unless you're the one doing the cooking.
