Haven't posted in a while, life has been busy! My wife and I have a child on the way. Obama won the election, was kind of expecting it. Have Petra - No Doubt playing in the car at the moment, I still think this is a great album. I might have read an email wrong but is John Schlitt joining Classic Petra? gave me shivers down my spin think the crew could be back together again after all this time!

Congrats on the child. Will he/she cry with an Aussie accent, want to eat that funky dark Nutella stuff, or have an automatic hankerin' for a beer?

No, basically, Classic Petra is going on a hiatus for a variety of reasons. The Farewell version of Petra is going to tour in 2013. That's the news in a nutshell.

UMMMMM hate to burst your bubble, but Christian Borneo is the new drummer, so it is kind of the Farewell lineup but not quite.

I have heard it is an amazing thing... I am sooo scared though... I just want to be the best Dad I can be.
Ok, so it isn't really farewell, that's ok they should be able to get the same sound.

Good luck with the baby! Our daughter is one year old now. I can tell you one thing: You will be getting far far LESS sleep than you expect the first months. Even if you expect little, you will get less. The baby will wake you up every couple of hours the first time. It seems most parents have forgot about this when they get older. Our parents asked us right from the start: Is she sleeping all night? And we... what? no way! Strange how people tend to forget the hard part. Nowdays she does sleep all night though!

I have a 17 yr old stepson, 5 yr old girl, & 4 yr old boy and I'm finding it harder to raise the girl over the 2 boys, and way more expensive.
