Hey everyone, I have Mediacom internet, and every night for the past couple weeks it seems to go in and out (making trying to use internet very slow). I was just wondering if any of you have Mediacom and if so, have you ever had these troubles?

The funny thing is, it works perfectly during the day. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So what should I do?

You have cable internet or some other type of block shared bandwidth. It sucks. Change services. Don't get a shared bandwidth company.

So what ISP would you recommend?

Other than the bill always going up over time, I've been satisfied with Comcast. If you are using a wireless router that's secured, you shouldn't have anyone else connecting. You can look at the settings of your router and see what is connected just to verify that no one has hacked your password.

I have Mediacom and the same thing happens to me every once in while. Usually, it will last for a couple days and then things go back to normal.
