Well we are still here, now I got to go rake some leaves because they didn't burn up in the fire like I was told they would.

Yay, another day to spend on this world
It seems that for now, God's wrath is not unfurled
I guess the Mayan calendar meant nothing in the end
So now we have another day to spend

I use the excuse "But dear, its natural compost". Luckily there'll be several inches of snow to cover them until next spring.

The Mayan calendar worked just fine for the Mayans. It outlasted their civilization too.
