Read it all through.

Their thought process is pretty light and petty, and the OP was an interesting read, but after that it sent downhill.

That said, it does show what the Church has to be ready to discuss out there.

It has been my general experience with atheists that they are anti-intellectual and wilfully closed-minded. As the saying goes, man does not reject the existence of God because of a lack of evidence but because of the implications that follow if it's true. The late Dallas Willard once described skepticism as a lazy pose and not the result of genuine intellectual effort, but because of powerful propaganda from our educational institutions, the one who doubts is perceived as more intelligent than the one who believes, even if the former is as stupid as a cabbage.

Now granted, modern churches in the West have done a generally poor job of making the gospel relevant to current society, but I'm not sure even the Apostles themselves could have made a dent in the stubborn mind of today's atheists.
