Musically What are the inspiration of each song on the album?

Yeeeeeaaaaaaaah. I think it is just what it is. I can't say we did anything more than giving it a little different tone than the tunes had in the late 80s. Some of the tunes are more acoustic than they originally were. That's about it. There was no conscious effect to mimic anyone. I sure wish we hadn't lost the original tracks. They were better.

Wait, you wrote the songs in the 80's?

All but a few.

These songs were originally more 80s metal/rock.

Man I would love to have heard the originals. I listen to a fair bit of Hair Nation on SXM, PDC could EASILY be played on that station.

Thanks. Have you heard Mechanism? If you have, what do you like about PDC that isn't on PDC Mechanism?

My pleasure. I haven't heard Mechanism other than the samples without vocals, but from what I did hear of them it was very Linkin Park/Dream Theater which sounded awesome.

Unfortunately there is something true in that statement.

Nope. We were going to, but the market changed, there wasn't enough demand. We had a cool package. It was a double LP jacket. It opened and three CDs that look like cogs were in a machine. The lyrics were readable (like the old days) and there was lots of cool art. But....times changed.

I've never heard of PDC until I came on here but I think that it sounds pretty cool- and that CD woulda looked cool too. 8)
