Very good tune with a great message! Stryper keeps putting out quality music and I look forward to picking up the new album in September.

One of the better lyric videos I've seen. Looks like someone actually put some work into it instead of just using stock backgrounds and canned After Effects animations.

I've heard the album and will have to say Stryper have taken it to the next level; something that I noticed right away was every song talks directly about Christianity and Jesus & God, unlike any of their other albums where you would get some "love tunes" thrown in.

How did you manage to snag an early listen? It's still several months away from release.

But I did notice that the lyrics at least in this song were a lot more explicitly Christian than some of their past songs -- and certainly more so than anything they did in the 80's.

Thanks for the link! I was also wondering how you had already heard the album. So far I really like what I hear!

LET...HIM...IN. I like the production on this one more so than the previous albums. It almost sounds like they got someone else to mix it.
Nice to really hear Perry's bass in there.

"Let Him In" is already a favorite of mine. Perry brings so much to the recording and Robert's bass drum will not stop kicking you in the back of your head.

Managed to get it a day early. Very good album. It has more of a "classic" Stryper sound than their previous few albums, sounding almost like something that could have been released in the 80s but also modern at the same time. It's a little hard to describe.

I will agree with you; This thing kicks butt!

"This I Pray" could be a Bon Jovi song. One of my favorites on the album.

This album is some of their best stuff to date. Do Unto Others, Divider, & For God and Rock & Roll are my favorites

Yeah, "For God and Rock and Roll" is a strong track. Honestly, I'm not hearing anything on this album that I don't like. It's solid and consistent. It's rather amazing that a band as old as Stryper is still putting out new and fresh sounding albums and actively touring. That's better than even some secular bands are doing. Most of them who still perform live and are playing decades old hits.
