Unlike Petra's "Double Take", U2's "Songs of Surrender" is mostly terrible.
And now they've announced a residency gig in Vegas minus founding member Larry Mullen, Jr. (starting the band was his idea), so I think we're seeing the beginning of the end of the group. It seems that Bono and Edge are determined to continue no matter what, but it won't be U2 even if they keep the name.
