Why do believe in God?

Simplest answer: It's because the existence of God is the best explanation for the reality we see around us. The very existence of the universe is inexplicable without an ultimate being to set things in motion. The concept of morality, of right and wrong, of good and evil, make no sense unless there is an ultimate moral authority who sets the standard. And then, of course, there's the witness of history as recorded in the books of the Bible.
