The Petra Zone

Cat has been major busy booking for me and Warren and if you look on http://www.samscales.comunder "Tour Dates" then you can see what she's been up to.....
Warren and I will have 4, possibly 5 concerts to do while we are here in Tulsa, OK. So if any of you are around this area and wanna come, we'd be thrilled to meet other Petheads....we will be doing some Petra songs as well (but the softer ones), since I don't have that many soft songs on my CD. I don't think Coffeehouses would be too thrilled with us blaring some rock tunes.
You'll also get the pleasure - or the gut wrenching pain - to hear me play my guitar. I've been playing for a whole 2 months!!!! (yeah, like totally wow, eh? ) and I can manage 5 Praise & Worship songs. Just don't pay attention to some of the - ummmm - misfingerings on some of the chords, HAHAHA. But, you CAN expect a great time with loving the Lord and having some coffee and snacks at some of the places.

Sam and Warren are here in T-town...which has been so fun! They have 5 shows coming up...so if you are here in the area...please come out and support them! They will be setting up tables after the concerts... as well... for cd's and t-shirts ect.!



Elo....I am planning to tape a show or two and I will also try to get some pics too!

Well, these shirts may be a "limited edition". I'm not sure how many our supplier (friends of ours) will have of this design. We won't know for sure, they will have to check themselves how many there will be total. But we'll let ya know.

Cat and MJ have been to all the concerts we have had so far, they are so supportive. We sure appreciate all their encouragement!

Yes, Elo, they have video footage and TONS of it. So you can look forward to seeing some concerts Even me miserably playing my guitar and missing chords like crazy!!! HAHA. Glad I don't claim to be a guitarist!

MJ and I are even talking about putting a video clip on the site. Not sure how long we can make it - because of the bandwidth. I can't afford to pay for extra bandwidth...........

Yeah, I think we have nearly three hours worth of video so far. The performance last night was REALLY good! We haven't watched the tape yet, but it was great in person and I think the tape came out pretty good too.

We have been to 3 perfomances so far! We have had a ball taking pictures and video...so get ready ELO!

If anyone wonders....YES!! Sam is John's sister seperated at birth! She has an awesome stage presence and lights up the room. She and Warren are touring together this Spring...so let her know if you would like he to come and perform for your outdoor festival or youth event!

wonder how your accent is, wonder if you and cat have a southern accent...i have heard some petheads on da zone and the only ones that sound a little bit different is sue and jay.

You would generally be pretty disappointed in me... I don't sound like a U.S. Southerner at all except when I get tired (I guess I start to let my guard down when the energy runs low). Even then it's not too bad. Cat doesn't really twang that much, although she has picked up some interesting pronounciations for a few words.

Well, we've been hanging around Cat and MJ quite a bit while we've been here and to me they talk quite normal understandable Engish. At least I didn't haveta worry about needing a translator!
Now Penny, she talks more southern.........I love her accent, specially when she calls me a "goofball"

It's been a blast doing the concerts, Cat and MJ are fun to be around and they were filming, singing along and filming and filming, taking pictures, and filming some more. MJ can get quite creative with taking videos.
I thought I was decent at doing videos, but MJ is awesome!!! I think you will be pleased with the videos, Elo.

But of course NOTHING goes out without the artist's approval - and absolutly it has to pass "management". HAHAHAHAHA.
