Ownership of the Newsboys

So with the sudden retirement of Michael Tait, I begin wondering what the future will hold for the Newsboys. The more I looked into it I realized I’m not completely sure of their business structure and ownership. I had assumed Peter Furler owned or at least owned a majority of the band since he was the last remaining original member. But now I’m not so sure. Perhaps I was injecting, and my supposition was based on Bob and Petra‘s relationship. I did find some legal records of a recent lawsuit that looked to be between them and a record label. Anyone have any ideas or predictions about where the band will go? They’ve already had three lead singers.

Newsboys are an odd one. According to Wikipedia, they didn't have a stable lineup from 1985 when they started until 2008 when Michael Tait joined, but by then, every original member had left and the music style completely changed, so they were basically Newboys in name only at that point.

I never cared for his vibrato. It seemed so forced. Can't bash the man for gaining mass and ugly, 'cause...it's wrestled us all to the ground and given us a wedgy.
