You're absolutely right, it does. And the news is that the Pistons have defeated the Magic, and await their opponent. Here's hoping Billups will be back, because they'll need him. But Detroit has to be the favorite at this point.

Don't forget that the Red Wings are 1 win away from the Stanley Cup Finals. Can you say dynasty?

Gotta have some good news in Detroit to get through another pointless summer of Tigers baseball.

Brett Favre is still retired. That's still news in Wisconsin.

It doesn't matter because they have Brian Brohm!

True, but I would think it would take a couple of years to get him ready to be an effective starter, though if Rodgers gets hurt, he would be good as a back-up even this season. I don't think any of the free agent back up QB's on the market like Culpepper would be any better. And yes I am a big Packer fan. :D

Michigan is full of Packer backers, and I just wonder how many are converted Lions fans...since the Lions have no interest in winning, from the top down.

Awaiting the possible qualification of NEC for the UEFA Cup next Sunday, the city of Nijmegen has decided that the possible celebration will not be held at Kelfkensbos, where the festivities were held when NEC qualified five years ago. The celebration will take place at the Goffert, due to the vicinity of the NEC-stadium.

After sweeping the Lakers, the Pistons will probably go on to win the gold medal in Beijing.

Isn't "chicken reincarnation of hitler" More along the lines of the news than whatever sports? Of course it is. I get all mine from the weekly world news. Brilliant journalism there.

And SU if you are at my house, why aren't you rebuilding that wall my brother ripped apart? You have to earn your keep or I'll send you to the basement. Lil Stinky and Cheeser await.
